A short visit at Mass General Hospital

Ellison 17 at MGH welcomed Brady back once again yesterday for a 24 hour EEG. Looking to help us identify what has looked like new seizure activity, Brady was hooked up to an audio and video monitoring system that recorded his brain waves. While he is having frequent seizure activity, it does appear as though the hypsarrhythmia brain waves associated with infantile spasms have dissipated. Of course we look forward to the day when we can report that all of his seizures are controlled, but for now it is good news that those specific damaging brain waves have ceased. Brady was happy to have an old friend take care of him and even made a new friend as well, but was pleased that this was a much shorter stay than he has been accustomed to.
